Volunteer Staff

Founded in 1992, Quest for Excellence [Q4E] navigates around the system of injustice that makes it near impossible for under resourced communities to achieve the American dream. Now, the staff is made up of community members that donate their time and energy to advance projects that continue the mission of the organization.

Pashell Propes Johnson, is a founding member of Quest for Excellence. She has a masters degree in youth development.  She has mentored, advised and shepherded young people for three decades; including her three sons. Pashell is a native of North Minneapolis, and has resided in Minnesota her whole life. She credits her passion for social justice, community and education to her parents.

Jeremy Lee Johnson joined the Q4E staff in 2021.  Jeremy has a degree in International Business from the University of California, San Diego.  Jeremy manages the social enterprise of Q4E, which includes marketing, media and project management.
